Tidal Kart — Android privacy policy
Effective 14 September 2026. Developer: Akshay Baldia. This policy covers the Tidal Kart Android app, package com.akshay.tidalkart.
Game data on your device
The game stores your circuit unlocks, stars, coins, difficulty preferences and best times on your device. We do not upload these records or provide player accounts, chat or a shared leaderboard. The game assets are bundled with the app so racing works offline. Advertising requires a network connection.
Advertising and third-party data
The Android app integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display interstitial ads at natural breaks between races. Google's SDK collects and shares information including IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), advertising or other device identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostics such as crash and performance information. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Tidal Kart does not request precise location, contacts, camera or microphone access.
Google processes advertising data under its own policies. Read Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information for advertising, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.
Age range
This app is intended for players aged 13 and over. On first use, you choose an age range. That choice is stored on the device; we do not collect a date of birth. For players aged 13–15, the app sends an under-age-of-consent flag to Google and requests restricted advertising. The app uses Google’s general-audience ad-content rating limit for all players. Players under 13 cannot continue into the game.
Consent and your choices
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent where required before requesting ads. When applicable, an “Ad privacy choices” button in the game menu lets you review or change your choices. You can also manage your advertising ID and advertising privacy controls in Android settings. Ads may be unavailable because of consent choices, connectivity, ad availability or Google's account and app approval status; the game remains playable.
Retention and deletion
Saved game progress stays on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. This release does not enable Android cloud backup for game data. You can remove locally stored progress in Android Settings → Apps → Tidal Kart → Storage → Clear storage. Advertising data retained by Google is governed by Google's policies and privacy controls; clearing game storage does not delete data already processed by Google.
Security and hosting
The game does not run a developer-operated player database. This public policy and the web game are hosted on Firebase Hosting. Google processes technical request information to deliver and secure those pages. Advertising SDK communications use secure connections.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the app's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For questions or privacy requests, contact Akshay Baldia at akshaybaldia@gmail.com. We can help with the app’s local data and explain available Google privacy controls; we do not hold a developer-operated player database.
